To be an agent of change in Central Florida, meeting diverse human needs through a variety of services for marginalized and oppressed individuals, particularly the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and unhoused communities.
Vision
The Umbrella Brigade serves as a community defender for marginalized and oppressed individuals in the Central Florida area. We fight for equal rights, social justice, and human dignity. We are committed to providing transparency and safe spaces while breaking barriers to empower and bring healing to our neighbors. We envision a future community where every individual has equal access to compassionate support, encompassing healthcare, food, housing, clothing, education, and mental well-being.
